The Health Professions Education and Practice (HPEP) Research Group brings together colleagues with a variety of expertise across Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Allied Health and Community and Three Counties Medical School to explore shared areas of interest across two broad themes:

Skills, Simulation and Practice Learning
Teaching Excellence and Student Support

The group contributes to the University’s four areas of strategic challenge: Human Health and Well-Being, Professional Education, Digital Innovation, and Culture Identity and Social Exclusion.

The EPICC Network (Enhancing Nurses' and Midwives' Competence in Providing Spiritual Care through Innovation Education and Compassionate Care) Conference is scheduled to take place on 7th-9th May 2025 at the 51视频, UK.

The chosen theme is "why does spirituality matter in person-centred care? Evolving expertise through research and discussion". The aim of this conference is to support the delivery of holistic person-centred care, using a multifaceted and multidisciplinary approach to enhance the person's experience.
