The Art House is a fantastic flexible space right in the city centre. It provides an open studio, workshop and exhibition space for our students and the community.
A home for the Arts
This newly renovated facility has created innovative and experimental home for the Arts in Worcester.
Inside you'll find a series of large open spaces that are continually transformed to meet the needs of our Arts students. Studios and workshops are created alongside intimate spaces for small group learning. This creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that we believe is perfect for creative expression.
The glass fronted exterior is both a source of fantastic natural light and an area for continual public exhibition.
The University hopes The Art House will also become an important centre for children’s creative camps and community artists.
An instantly recognisable building
A stunning redevelopment of one of the city's best loved building. The Art House has recently been restored, including its beautiful clock tower, which can be seen across the city.
The interior has been transformed into a series of large open and light spaces - these multi-purpose rooms can used flexibly as teaching, workshop and exhibition areas.
The building is only the third building in the whole of the UK to earn a Gold standard for environmental sustainability. This achievement was awarded to the University by the .
