Jenizze is an International student from the Philippines studying Nursing BSc (Hons)

“I have enjoyed studying at the university of Worcester because it is really student friendly. The staff make sure that students feel safe and well looked after. I've enjoyed the scenery of Worcester too.

Moving here during my studies and away from my family was a big step to make, but Worcester being a small city, filled with greenery, makes it a calm environment. It is not too loud or as busy as places like London, but it's not as quiet as living in a countryside. Everything in Worcester is very accessible, which I really like”.

Linh Hong Vu is an International student from Vietnam studying an MBA.

"I chose to study at the 51ÊÓƵ due to a combination of factors. The MBA's curriculum is practical, the University’s facilities are impressive and the City is full of historical and modern entertainment sites. The people in Worcester are amicable and courteous and there are career events available at the Uni that are really helpful.

My long-term goal is to travel around the world, meet new people, make lasting friendships and learn about other cultures. I believe the knowledge and experience I will gain after the MBA course at the 51ÊÓƵ will prepare me for my journey. I have a chance to gain international knowledge and connections to many national and international businesses in Worcester as well as other big cities such as Birmingham and London."

Loc Phan

"One year ago, when I was working I felt that I needed to study abroad if I want to have an international career. I chose 51ÊÓƵ because my course offers modules that I believe offer practical skills for the workplace. Besides that, my Course Leader is really friendly, he took the time to have a video call with me before I started the course and answered any questions I had.

My class has students from many different countries such as Germany, Czech Republic, China, Thailand, America and Bangladesh so it's really diverse.

My first week in Worcester was amazing because the weather was truly nice. It was a bit cold and sunny, not too hot like in my country.

My eventual plan is to work for a multi-national company that challenges me with global opportunities and I believe that the 51ÊÓƵ will help me to achieve my desired goal."

Shanen is an International student from Indonesia studying for an MSc in Healthcare Leadership and Management.

"At first, coming to Worcester was very scary because I didn't know anyone in UK, and I had a very long journey with a 32 hour flight. Fortunately, I was picked up by the University at the airport and the Ambassadors helped me move into my accommodation even though it was not in the University Halls. They were so welcoming and helpful and made my life so much easier!

I was surprised by the education system here in UK, but all the support that you need is readily available at arm’s reach. I have been in love with the city since the first day I arrived. I am currently acting as a Course Rep to represent my course in the Students' Union."
