Rishika Gour – LLB Law – Rajasthan, India

"Studying in the UK has been an enriching experience for me so far! Living in a city as welcoming as Worcester, adapting to a different lifestyle and engaging with university events/trips, has helped me gain a global perspective.

I was assigned as the Course Rep this year for LLB (Hons) and I also engaged with intellectual societies like the Debate Club and the Law Society which have helped me broaden my horizons and meet some amazing people with similar interests.

Moreover, being a keen member of the UOW Badminton club, as well as the UOW Saints Dance Society. Both of these have offered me an opportunity to learn new skills, foster my personal growth and most importantly, have an enjoyable university experience!

I will always cherish the friendships I have made along my journey with the world class diversified experience that the university has given me!"

Swathi Suresh – BSc Adult Nursing – Kerala, India

"Studying in the UK is a more practical experience. We can talk to the patients and understand them and what they really want from us.

I've received a lot of support within the course. I feel welcomed and lecturers are ready to explain something 100 times so that we understand.

Worcester is a city that retains the beauty of the countryside. I love to explore nature, it's beautiful, the Malvern Hills and the Severn are lovely. I love cycling around Worcester. Everything is walking distance and near to me.

I’m planning to specialise in a surgical area, maybe cancer. After graduating, I want to stay here for a couple of years. I can compare healthcare in both countries, I can go back to my country to help."

Vikram is an International Student from India studying an MBA

"Enriching & Learning are the two words that can best describe my experience at the 51ÊÓƵ. When I made the decision to study here, it was the beautiful city that attracted me initially but now after my interactions with the people and our lecturers here, I feel like the people I've met are the reason to stay.

Our Lecturers made us feel really at home and I'm so sad that my studying experience will be over soon. The year has gone by very quickly and I can confidently say that I am ready to deal with whatever comes by way thanks to the time spent at UOW."
