Throughout studying at the 51ÊÓƵ, Shannon worked as a football coach progressing from a community coach at The Albion Foundation and Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation to the Under 14s Head Coach at Aston Villa RTC. Upon completion of her Masters, Shannon worked full time within the football and education programme at Kidderminster Harriers FC.
Having such a wonderful student experience, Shannon’s ambition was to work at the 51ÊÓƵ. This is due to the support she received from all staff, who encouraged her to achieve goals she could not imagine possible. Transferring skills that Shannon developed academically, personally and professionally, she decided to utilise her skills and experiences in a completely new role.

- FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football
Scope of Role at University
As University Arena Events Manager, Shannon plans and delivers a range of events including Worcester Wolves, Severn Stars and external events. These include a variety of sporting competitions, exhibitions and awards. Shannon manages a team of event staff to help support the set-up and delivery to provide a professional experience for all clients, teams and spectators.
