Ree Han's long and varied experience in graphic design and multimedia ranges from private sector involvement in advertising (she formerly worked for Saatchi and Saatchi in the City of London) to academic research and teaching. Since 2010, she has been Course Leader for the undergraduate Graphic Design & Multimedia course at Worcester. Before joining Worcester, she was Course Leader for BA and MA Animation & Interactive Media at the University of Gloucestershire. Whilst at Gloucestershire, she was also its Education Faculty's International Programme Director, working to develop international partnerships and collaborative programmes.

The focus of Ree's teaching is on multimedia communication and the interface between design and technological development. Her curriculum development work is particularly concerned with maintaining close ties with industry and engaging with new technology and design trends. Ree supports her students to submit for design awards and to engage with professional practice that prepares them for work on graduating.

Ree's research has included development and realisation (with Dr Heather MacLennan) of an AHRC-funded three-year project to explore the digital archiving of museum and gallery collections, drawing on the collections of the V&A, Tate and the Birgit Skiöld Memorial Trust archives. An outcome of the research was an interactive catalogue raisonné of works by printmaker and designer Birgit Skiöld held in the BSMT archives. Ree's contribution was through her expertise in new media techniques and digital design.

Alongside her work at Worcester, Ree currently works as an educational adviser for universities in Korea, Japan and China on partnership development and international co-operation.
