I am a Senior Lecturer and Academic Group Leader for the Foundation Degrees in the School of Allied Health at the 51ÊÓƵ. I am module leader for a range of undergraduate modules on the course and support teaching on global health within the MSc Public Health My research interests currently centre around the links between wellbeing and the impact of transition into higher education specifically related to foundation degree students.

Research Interests

Having worked internationally and with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants I have great interest in the impact of humanitarian crisis and migration on the well-being on individuals and communities.

At the moment, my research interest is around well-being but more focused on the student population. I am currently developing research in the following areas:
